GME Site Enabling Works (SEW): Phase (I) of GEM Implementation

As a first step to prepare the GEM site for construction works, the Ministry of Culture has announced the SEW in March 2005, to select the contractor who will execute site cleanup, site leveling, site fencing, on-site road network, besides basic sanitary works, site lighting, power supply for construction purposes. Five qualified contractors have participated in the SEW bid.

In April 2005, the SEW contract was awarded to MEDICOM to start the SEW works which will be implemented in a four-month period.
